Coding with Lua is not actually possible when you want to use the C++ source code. You have to use C++. The new "powder.h" is actually generated by a Python script "generator.py", which scons has to call. All the element properties are now written in each element's own cpp file.
A lot was changed in the rewrite from C to C++.
