iPhone Can't Be Backed Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I hope someone who's done this before reads this... here's what's up:

    I have iTunes 11

    I have used my iPhone 3GS without a sync for 8 months because I didn't have to

    I can't even access the back up option

    The only 2 options shown are "Restore from previous backup" and "Set up as new iPhone"

    I am using iOS 6

    Please help; I'm upgrading to an iPhone 5 later!!!! :D

    you can use winamp to sync music both ways, if that is what you mean.
