1.Fireworks burns out around 7000℃, in realistic, it's impossible; in game, fireworks may ruin many things that they don't suppose to...as Metal
2.Heat Radiation. Would this possible? Not actually a particles, maybe act like temperature and pressure I found it rather strange while there are some cold water while few pixels away there are tons of PLUT with extreme hot (~9000℃) Metal and other materials have high thermal conductivity should cool down exposed in air but they didnt
baizuo 2. This is impossible with the current system in use. I think they are planning to re write it in a different language. As it would need an actual particle. The system interpenetrates the particles and not the space around them.
I assume that you are foreign, either you know some english or are using a translater. Nice to see some culture :D. Either way I see where your coming from and I agree with you on 1. Also, I think 2 would be possible, although it would nullify many current creations(Which is why my post "Environmental Variables" suggests what it does, to allow changes without affecting older creations). I haven't actually looked at the source much so I don't know how it deals with particles BUT in theory it sounds like it should work.
pilojo The thought of TPT being rewritten in some other language than C frightens me. C is the perfect balance of readability, developer base(it's the most popular programming language, for the desktop), and speed(something an interpreted language or a language that uses a VM can't match). The only way we could improve the game would be to rewrite it in Assembly, which would make it incredibly hard to debug and maintain.
It's fine if TPT is realistic, to the point that it doesn't detract from the game's playability. As Cr15py suggested, a setting for this would be very useful. And fireworks would be better (in my opinion) if they weren't as hot. It's not that I want to be more realistic, just better. And in this case, realistic = better. Setting an umbrella rule against realism would be detrimental to new suggestions.
bchandark It's banning realism to a point. Most people are complaining saying "PLNT doesn't grow so fast in real life" or thermite doesn't explode in ice" and all that other crap. Like if fireworks were more realistic like colder that would be fine but people saying well.... i want this because this actually does this in real life is just rediculous.
powder toy is realistic because in real life, i go around spawning thunder particles on peoples houses at specifically 9000 degrees K every time. The thunder then destroys the house with a pressure wave and no sound at all, which is weird, because the word thunder only means the sound.
