In this game, If you fill a large indestructible wall container with Plutonium, then add Air until Plutonium releases neutrons, then pause and change the high pressure to low pressure with a Vacuum, three things happen. The first is that you create some Stone. You also create uranium. Finally, in low pressure, Plutonium stops releasing Neutrons.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is technically Uranium that Decays into Neptunium 237, then that beta decays into Plutonium 238. As far as I know, It doesn't work the other way, except to produce Uranium 234 from Plutonium 238, but that becomes Lead 206 anyways.
I'd like to see you fix this, if it is indeed wrong. Maybe some new elements to add are Neptunium and Thorium, because all of these are used in Nuclear fields, along with other isotopes of the aforementioned Uranium and Plutonium. I know it may be confusing to add different isotopes of elements we already have, but it will keep things like Nuclear reactors more realistic, if there is spent nuclear fuel. I'd be grateful to even see Florine, Hydrogen in the form of Deuterium of Tritium, or even Lead 206 and Mercury.
Thanks, and I hope someone sees this. like I said, I am not sure if Plutonium 238 can ONLY decay into Uranium 234, but I know that there is no real use for U234, so it is more realistic to just change the Pu-U into U-Nu-Pu (or simply U-Pu) when exposed to Heavy Neutrons.
I did some research on this, a while back, but because I'm only 14, and I'm not in high school yet( I start in a month) I don't have any kind of real knowledge here, but I did catch the p-u problem, I just didn't say anything because I couldn't realisticly argue the point. But yes, I would love to see the nuclear fission process expand, and if fusion were to be implemented with hydrogen and helium, I might just have a heart attack I would be so happy!
I don't think it really makes a big difference wether or not it decays etc because it's only a game. I do understand where you are coming from but there may not be much of a point implementing it into TPT
I just say that because in this game, you can build a perfect reactor, but in real life, there is entropy and decay, and in the end, there should be a way to replenish the "spent" fuel, and replace it with new fuel.
I haven't see all the reactors on here, but the top ones I've seen don't take into account that reactor fuel loses power eventually, you can't lock it in one place an expect power for as long as you want.
I understand that it is not easy to just add in these new elements or workings of these decays, but I'd like to see it at least turn Uranium into Plutonium, because that is a lot more common than turning Plutonium into Uranium, which this game accounts for.
That's pretty much what I'm saying. When exposed to heavy neutrons, Uranium should turn into Neptunium, then Plutonium.
To break every upload using uranium for something trivial? Uranium is something that gets hot and plutonium is something that makes an insane blast, they are there for people to build thigns with not to have exact nuclear physics or be complicated systems.
But if that isn't the consensus on this (I'm only 1 view) and it does get changed in some way there is no need for "in-between" elements such as Neptunium, they don't add features just more coding work.
yes, but for players like us, we want it to be as realistic as possible, and uranium isnt at all realistic, it does nothing when exposed to neutrons, and as for breaking uploads, reactors have been broken before, that is part of new versions.
