No, TPT would either have to be "scaled" down in features so the "DS" can handle it, or someone will just have to make a DS on steroids that's capable of even running BF3. But seriously, Powder Toy on DS?

    No.

Yes, Powder toy is an extremely complicated program. Actually, in another thread I saw, someone said that it wasn't cpable of being run on an Xbox 360 without scaling it down and losing element qualities and whole elements. And an Xbox is capable of running more than a DS. Also, to get the program, you would have to put it on a UMD or one of those square thingies (I dont have a DS or handheld system) and that is very hard for Simon to do. Especially while hes just getting back from moving and fixing so many things. Plus, on a DS, it's really hard to manneuver and stuff. Someone (not mentioning his name) has a version for Wii and he says it's very hard to maneuver around and stuff. Even with a pen from a DS, it would be weird because you have that huge program and pixels on a small screen. It's a lot less innaccurate. Sorry, but that's not going to happen.

I have it on a PSP (Pro CFW), no UMD.
Around 20 elements, and almost no features (except fullscreen, which is enforced).

    Is there any DS Homebrew?

I remember talking to Ximon about this, TPT /could/ run on Xbox 360 at the time, but this was something like version 50. I don't think it would run on a DS.

could TPT version 1.0 (you know, the version you always see people using on Youtube) could it work on DS?

Theoretically it couldn't. Not that exact program anyways. There are numerous difficulties in porting over TPT to other devices, the biggest is that they simple lack the number crunching performance required to run TPT at all. Use the forum search - there are many more reasons and it has actually been tried to some extent!

Not feasible. I used to have it on my 600mhz psp. It was slow, and only had around 20 elements, as billion57said. The DS has a 66mhz processor. No chance.

What about Nintendo 3DS? That should have more power than the regular one.

Nintendo 3DS aparently has a 1 GHz dual core processor, so it MIGHT be possible. TPT will NEVER EVER EVER be ported to any non-computer device officially. It might be a side project, but to get a developer program and compile it specially, no. I don't see it as a thing that will happen in the future.
