FP Artwork Criteria

I'm posting this in development because it loosely fits the description better than if I were to post this in feedback, but if i'm incorrect please alert me and of course, change the category. I do believe this to be better suited for development though, because it is discussing the development on our current system of judging artwork saves on Front Page.

Here's my story with this, I'm not with or against artwork here on TPT, some is uneeded, other artwork is perfectly acceptable. As it has appeared to me though, there is no specific criteria disclosing how to universally evaluate whether or not a save really is artwork. I hope to have these basic rules added to determine whether or not a save really is art, because human judgement can sometimes be decieced/mistaken in a particularity tricky situation, and I hope to avoid future issues over whether or not a moderator's judgement was the right call, in a situation where the line dividing right and wrong is paper thin.

Here is the basic list for determining a save as artwork or not, and more will be added with time.

1: No solid material with decor over top. This will immediately make the given save eligible for removal.
2: Must not be a save in regards to joining or supporting a given cause/campaign.
3: Must provide legitimate information regarding a subject non art related.
4: Must involve certain reactions, not necessarily elemental but a series of steps leading up to a physical course of action, rather than a static page.
5: Must be considered as having a greater purpose than that of a pure simple piece of artwork, as in a specific entitlement that denotes the save having uses other than public display for the arts.
6: The only acceptable use of "art" or "artwork" is when the art is accompanied by another piece of save involving something other than artwork, or when the artwork is used properly to depict complex of otherwise difficult abstract thoughts. You know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Good ideas. Just wondering what you mean for #1, "no solid material with decor over top". What exactly does that mean? A big piece of diamond? Or small solid quantities "painted".

Also, correction, for first line, second paragraph: uneeded should be "unneeded". Lol, no offense.

What would you say about space art? It isn't dmnd or anything like that, it is using the glow of certain things such as gases.

Here is an example if you are wondering

"Admittedly, even with this rule in its vague place,"

You just said its vaguely in place, meaning it's undefined in any context entitled rules... Enough rules? You just said this hardly counts as a rule! =/

I figured if you Moderators didn't have a rule set to go off of, or more so the community doesn't have a set of guidelines to go off of, then I would make some to assist in the making of some official rules.

This "official rules" hubub is all rubbish :P believe them when mods say "you wouldnt like it if we had to enforce a set of official rules."

The moderators explained to me the dynamics of the situation, this thread is basically dead. Anyways I hate art, besides gun art that is.
