Public Groups and Group Deletions

A while ago in a now inactive thread (https://powdertoy.co.uk/Discussions/Thread/View.html?Thread=11168&PageNum=1#Message=173140), a user called code1949 suggested that there should be an option of making group forums visible to non-members for group owners. I thought that was a very good idea, it would have saved me a lot of trouble a while ago when I had to quit around 5 groups, all of which were pretty awesome, just to join Aperature so I could merge in Opinion Polls Group. Another thing, there should be an option for group owners to delete groups. For a while I've wanted to delete my group's forum (as we have merged into another forum now), but I have not been able to. I am sure many others are facing similar issues and these would be great things to add to the forum.

And I think you could just convo Simon and he'd be glad to delete it, but an option would be handy.

Sorry to bump this but I want to know if any mods have seen this thread, I thought this was a very good idea.
