I tried to install Single Player Commands to minecraft, but i had version 1.8 so it made minecraft go black every time and i could not acsess anything. i backed up all of the files (including saves) and then deleted .minecraft. i ran the EXE and it made the file again, but my saves were gone. i put my save backups in the saves folder in .minecraft, but they will not show up in the game. Please help, i spent eight hours making a save for my sister in the last version of minecraft. please help! my sister already thanked me for it and was really happy. she will be really mad if i cannot fix this, because the save was a present for her after i got lost in a save she had a lot of stuff in. Please help!

I fixed it. I thought about those earlier, but then i tried Atrayins idea and it worked.
