Photons have a life limit.i believe there is a way to increase their life using the console or the prop tool.

PHOT will last for 680 frames upon spawn, hence life 680. -
Well i don't use photons allot so i never really mess with their value's.

The life of the Photons were 0 and I unpaused and they stayed forever but when I saved it and checked back they were gone. However they still saved to the disk and not the server. -
