wtf happened on freenode?

    I was chatting then everybody except me left.
    Then the connection to server closed.
    After rejoining server it said services arent allowed so i couldnt join channel back.
    Wtf happened? Is freenode down? It has many servers so are they down at same time?

    Either a split, or your particular server went down. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netsplit. It happens from time to time on IRC. You could try a specific freenode server (see their site for a list), or just try again later.
