    OS= operating system. And you might have accidentally turn sticky keys on again. go to your control panel and go to hardware settings. then go to keyboard and check to see what your key repeat rate is. set the rate to fast.

    Then get a new keyboard. Is it a USB keyboard?

    Then try borrowing a USB keyboard and test to see if you have the same problem with it. If you do, then there is a setting on there that is stopping you from using your keyboard properly.
