Pen Size

    Another nice feature would be the ability to change the pen size (0-9 are nice buttons for it). have no clue how hard this would be to implement though.

    Excuse me, are you from the past?
    You can change it by using your mouse wheel since version 30 or 31 or 32.

    Yeah, but a keyboard shortcut would be nice. Plus, for many people, (like me) the scroll ball will not work, (faulty Mac scroll ball) of they do not have a scroll ball.

    Also, there is a topic very similar to this on the forums, so this page is sorta pointless.

    I thought you could change the size with your scroll wheel since like ever.....I still have v26 on my computer and that allows scrolling.

    But on my netbook, I have no scroll wheel. Many others are in the same situation. A keyboard shortcut is needed.

    If you use the part of the mousepad at the far left you can use that as a scroll wheel. Thats what I use.

    And could the pen shape be changed into smooth circles? There is always that one pixel left, right, bottom and top.

    in fact, using the scroll wheel to change the pen size has been a feature since the very beginning...
    I have archived the original PT, in case Simon's new PT becomes the norm and we want to see how far the PT has come. Even then, the 19 element, 9 wall version that i have loved for years now looks and feels primitive and basic compared to the newer editions.

    went a bit off topic there... The scroll wheel/pen size changer has been in since the beginning, the wheel was about one third of the size though.

    Wow, can't believe I didn't notice it the whole time

    @Simon: is there any reason you don't allow for the pen to go larger? it just takes a couple of number changes around line 7620 where the sdl_wheel stuff is and it allows people to make perfect circles.
