CUDA and Multicore support?

    Hey!
    What about adding nVidia CUDA and multicore support in the future?
    CUDA should increase performance as well as multicore.
    There already is software which is GPU accellerated (Badaboom for example).
    I dunno how hard it is to implement and its only a suggestion.

    I dunno how hard it is to implement and its only a suggestion.

    It's very difficult and time consuming, it would involve changing a lot of game engine/architecture. There is a very old Multi-core version of the Powder Toy, but it does suffer from certain bugs.

    mm just a question why didn't you and the rest continued to develop on that and make it less buggy?? reason i can think of is because it works fine without it and saves you all a lot of work ;p

    Because there was no "the rest", I was the only person doing anything on TPT back then (It's from May/June 2010). I diverted my attention to things I deemed far more interesting, such as a working server and heat simulation.
