I got it to move. You have to hold AIR near the edges of the green DMND and it will move. It's kind of difficult to get it started and it isn't very reliable, but it is neat.
Nice!! I think you nailed the moving solids thing(ish). I think it's very good in terms of lua scrips. it's buggy, but ok. I'm going to be referring to this script if some n00b starts suggesting.... --------------------- let me try rephrasing... ------------------------ I got it!
it turns out that making 4-pixels of dust is better than making a giant ball of dust
about the moving solid
it's very good and of course glitchy,
but it's very good for a lua script
if a n00b comes and asks for moving solids, I will refer to this script
First, do 1 px of DUST, then draw a 1px thin line connected to the first px. Then, size the brush larger, several times. Then, draw some more over the 1px line, but without moving the mouse. You should now have some amount of the moving DMND. Then, hold AIR near the edges of the DMND and it should move.
EDIT: After setting 1 px of DUST, set the zoom window open on the DUST, and size the brush several times larger. Then, draw on the first px of DUST and while you are drawing, move the mouse out of the zoom window on to the normal play field. It should create the green DMND. Use AIR on the DMND to move it.
