64 bit

    ok so i have a windows 7 64 bit toshiba, it has a intel core i7. i love it, but i have one problem it wont let me run c++because its a 32 bit program. does anyone know how to put c++ on a 64 bit system, if so, how? if not what other program could i use to mod tpt? thanks

    C++ is the programming language in which only some of Powder Toy is written (C being the major portion).
    This section of the wiki should tell you how to build for all platforms. Most people recommend Code::Blocks

    That depends on the program. Visual Studios is less space and easier to install, but gives more bugs. Code::Blocks is a real pain to install, but will compile smooth as a silk baby's bottom. Now whether that metaphor made any sense or my mind has gone for a walk again, I'll let you know.

    Btw any normal windows have less-bit emulator
    Eg win64 can run 32 bit app and even 16 bit

    There are often issues about 32-64 bit.
    My lazy solution would to et windows 32 bit... but then you can't use more then 4 Gb of ram :(

    :D mine is a satellite A660. the one problem is it freezes a bit lol, ok im trying to start C++ up and it keeps saying "C:\Users\Riley\Downloads\vc_web.exe is not a valid Win32 application" (without the " 's) . any help guy's?
