lol sorry my english as you say is not very good literaly. its explaining that atm on ptt processor type dosen't affect due to core issues but if multi core was coded it would allow for diffrent processors to be better and make the game faster so a 1ghz 4 core processor vs a 2 core 1.8 ghz processor running on one core the 2core one wins but running on multi core the 1 ghz pne wins. also are you still doing the processor two or has tech gone a bit wrong.

Compare Crysis Engline to Powder Toy.

The amount of physics + visual effects in Crysis towers over PT.

Other than multi-core support, there is probably a way to make the PT code more efficient.

(Crysis takes up slightly more CPU)

Quote does not work anymore, you have to use HTML format.

We all know powdertoy is slow and gets laggy what Ive noticed is that it needs to be coded to run on more than one core. To prove this I have my laptop dell xps i3 370m nvidia geforce 420m
I also have my desktop again i3 but 370 and nvidia 250 0.5 gb no diffrence in speed so it must be multi core.

    You're completely wrong.

    My desktop specs:
    CPU Intel Celeron 450 @ 2.26GHz
    8GB RAM
    NVidia GeForce 6500 512MB RAM
    Open Solaris 10
    Runs every time at 60FPS

    My Netbook:
    CPU Intel Atom @ 1,6GHz
    RAM 1GB
    Debian 5.0.8
    Runs between 20-50FPS

I see no lag in none of my 6 computers.

You can't compare Crysis physics with TPT. Crysis only emulates gravity and collision. TPT emulates way more stuff. Also Crysis has hardware accelerated graphics, TPT only has software rendering.

    The rendering isn't the issue.

TPT does have a few inefficiencies, like how making the screen bigger automatically makes the game go slower.

If we could optimize TPT better for processor cache and minimize the amount of recalculations made it would go faster. But it is extreme amount of data being processed.

mur what im saying is when you fill the entire screen with water also on your first one you had a gt6800
and 8 gb ram. also which celeron 1 core or 2

well you would still be able to make it multi core but the processor does affect it in specs vs and i7 and rest cpu config it will be around 5 fps faster at what im talking about but it would only really make a diffrence with processor type if it was multi core i7 it wouldn't run at 5 fps faster it would be 20 fps faster. but it would still make a diffrence. but diffrence beetween speed turbo boost cache overclocking ram motherboard graphics card and wether or not the processor is mobile or not do make a diffrence but not much because they can run faster unless cpu can process more.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
