this sounds like your trying to give tpt a leap in aviation. To add the idea of protons, electrons, fusion, elements of the periodic tabe, as well as compounds is a fantastic idea for what could be the ultimate mod. +99999999999

They are not trying to preserve simplicity. They are removing all the ideas that cannot be implemented. Moving solids are just too hard to code GOL does not "move" parts "die" while others "spawn". Fusion is not required fission is enough. Quite frankly, if you enjoy the concept enough to quadruple and double post why don't you CODE IT IN YOURSELF! that way you can see the difficulty in coding movable solids. Although I like all those ideas, absolutely no-one here is able to program such complex things. It is impossible currently unless you actually hire professional game programmers to make that.

i like the idea, but does this mean someone would have to completely re-write the code?
    what would we call it?
is this a mod or a completly different game?
who's going to code it because i asume that the top coders will be working on something else?

People will have to work together and learn how to make complex code.
This project can be a separate project from The_Powder_Toy
If a team of coders can make an emulator from scratch. This should be no problem.
