    Why do trees grown with SEED have a GOO core?

    Example: Evergreens, with their tree sap.

    It's probably also to allow stuff like GEL factories, since TPT isn't meant to be realistic.

     WOOD and PLNT are also organic matter, so that doesn't make sense.

    GOO is organic matter. It's unspecified what exactly it is. It fits the color of the inside of a tree decently well.

    I guess just like how we have a lot of generic unspecified elements, GOO is another one, for organic things.
