Sand (SAND) + Paste (PSTE) = wet concrete (WCCT). Wet concrete waits several frames after generation and then turns into concrete (CNCT).
I hadn't thought about it like that. Maybe it should not turn into CNCT if it is in contact with WATR. That way it gets the "mixer" part done as well.
What about changing CNCT's ctype to WATR to make it act like wet concrete? It would change its colour as well, similar to how BRCK changes its colour to a blue-grey when its tmp is 1.
That would be inconvienent.
Maybe this could be combined with my reinforced concrete idea, somehow.
Then you CAN'T have a factory make it with just raw materials. You have to use DRAY or something similar.
Great idea! Why not have that made the same way but add BMTL to the WCCT to achieve it?
The problem with that is that wet concrete would eat through BMTL, and destroy buildings, which would be cool, but not realistic.
I think the best thing to use would be BRMT, but that would be weird, since BRMT is basically rust.
How about if it gets added to the PSTE and turns it into a hidden element RPST which can turn into WCCT with a different tmp value that then, when it forms the CNCT normally, turns into the RCNT instead? RPST would be just like PSTE but could form RBCK which is reinforced brick which can withstand higher pressure. I wonder if there would be a way to make your RCNT and the RBCK so that when PSTN pushes on one pixel, the entire structure moves. That way you could have a box with empty space inside (*gasp*).
What I mean is you add either BMTL or BRMT to the PSTE.
