Well, somthing "AI" in the game would add to the list of staple elements that are currently present, like stne or wood. I know this is kinda off topic, but I think it is time that there are more basic elements added to the game. Recently there has been a demand for intensly radioactive, explosive, flashy new elements, like prot, virs, grvt, tron etc... I personally love these elements, but where would the powder toy be with out the relaible basic elements.
I've been seeing more element suggestions asking for elements like alluminum and magnesium and I've even made a few like dirt, and seed. These get tossed aside, labled as boring or not useful enough.
I think TPT should start adding more staple elements that add to the diversity.
basic AI particle may be a good start?
*No way critisizing the mods in any way*.
Just an idea, how about adding spiders and web to the list. WEB slows down particles and SPDR makes webs. Just an idea. I know it won't be added but maybe for modders
I doubt the mods would want to add a useless element that only requires basic path finding. Problem: They won't add a useless element that's fun and intresting if it's useless (Plus they said they usually ignore suggestions, true jacob1 said that)
EDIT: For SPDR maybe check the y and x axis for 100 pixels for a solid element, if both reach one then SPDR stops falling and moves along a caculated line that draws n sided polygons (Easy, use sin+cos with angle increment of 360/n) that gradually get smaller, and draw a line connecting through the verticies. The problem is probably the lag to search and moving along the line, but somebody might figure it out (Hope I do, or else Feynman will have a better mod than jacob1's by the time mine's released)
Well, birds and fish dectect the c-type of the particles in their general vicinity, and act accordingly. Makes for "flock" like behavior than would be insane to see coded.
