I wish for humanity to master genetic modification, cybernetics, and space flight.

But now there are insane animals, even lazier people, and random ships that fly well in space but not while landing.

Granted, ashes is so heavier that when inhaled it sits in your lungs forever. And because ashes can be easily produced, they are now a major component to fragmentation bombs thus sparking mass production and a slightly easier means to carry out acts of terrorism. (I still dont fully get what what exactly you were wishing for)
