Hey guys!! I am just wonder when I turned gravity mode in to none then when I place an Ice, All the particles goes to the ice but not on my liquid iron metal?? It's should be iron metal not ice right? cause planet earth's core is liquid metal.
It's because the ice emits a negative pressure that sucks in the particles. Also the molten iron emits a small ammount of positive pressure, causing the particles to drift away.
IDK why it does that, but I don't think it's a bug.
therocketeer:
I guess because it's supposed to be cold, i.e. simulate the air falling as it cools. inverse for hot surfaces, since that (heat) would push air away.
Is it the SDL?

Is it the SDL?
are you asking wheather SDL is the reason for physics to work that way?
if so, the answer is no- the physics engine in TPT supports preasure, high presure "blows" particles away and low pressure "sucks" them in. some elements can affect the preasure in the area.
