Criticizm does not equal Hating

What is in your eyes the difference between negative, non-constructive criticism and hating? Mentioning the terrible operation temperature of the laser can be seen as some kind of constructive, but that's pretty much where it ends. If you don't want to make yourself look like what most people would describe as a hater, you should never leave bad critique on a save without offering the creator a way to make the save suit your desires. I would feel myself as the greatest hater of all times if I were to comment on your laser something like "omg your electronics suck, you're wasting so many unnecessary particles." This could be described as constructive as I give you the reason why your electronics suck, but nevertheless I am not helping you a tiny bit with this. I don't know how good you are with electronics, it could be that you are fully aware that some of the particles are unnecessary but you just didn't care. Whenever I comment on a save by a user who I never heard of or I don't know how experienced he is, I automatically assume he's a noob and depending on that I decide how to help them with their save. Sometimes I copy their save and improve the part that isn't working properly, but I don't change anything else (even if it might need some improvement, too) since it is their save and I don't want them to have the feeling that their save which made fp (just an example) is completely my work and just has their name under it. When I know a user is more advanced I tell them something like "if you changed that pixel for that ... moved that over a little ... it would be way faster." I know that what I tell them is enough for them to apply the proper changes and that they will understand why it is better. A noob would have no Idea what I wanted to tell them if I said the same stuff I would say to an advanced user.

Basically in my opinion there's no difference between egative non-constructive criticism and hating. If criticism has to be bad at all at least make it constructive on a proper level.

Who says hating has to be bad?

The hate vs. love ratio gives you an idea of popular opinion, which can at least give you a basis for knowing if your work needs to be improved. As well, no one has the right to not be offended, so it seems disingenuous to get mad at someone for hating When one could just man up, realize that it is unfair to silence opinions you disagree with (and it stifles actual discussion), and take the hating for what it's worth.

I mean, I don't even really know what hating is. What IS hating in the first place? A troll he downs every save? Someone who sometimes is constructive and sometimes not, like me? Someone who criticizes, what IS a hater/hating?
