 Actually, I'm not joking at all.

The 2DMMOTPS was called MetalAssault (distributed by AeriaGames, the Korean version is called GigaSlave). I was nominated as a GameSage (volunteer GM) for this game, and held the position until Aeria shut down the servers about a year later. The failed due to lack of advertising on Aeria's part.

I made many interesting freinds during this time, it was also the only social interaction I had because I was sick with mononucleosis for a period of 2.7 years. 'Ourous' comes from a set of charachters contained in a .BAT file used in the updater for the game.

Well,that...has got to be the best answer I've seen on this topic.

One day I was playing with fire and gbmb (gbmb was a new element at the time) and suddenly the two carved out an ornate letter "O" in the wood I was using. The remainder looked a bit like an "a" so I wrote an "s" and the t and found my name.
