I was just thinking about this, and I realized there are only 2 ways to get your element into official. Either I add it, or Simon adds it. None of the other devs do anything large like new elements often, and if they do it's not going to be a suggestion, it will be their own idea.

So since neither me or Simon responded, I guess that's why. I rarely read suggestions anyway since I usually won't want to add them, won't be able to add them because of how the code works, or the suggestion is just bad. Occasionally a good one comes along and I notice it once it gets a lot of support.

I might try making the element and see how it turns out, and maybe give it to some people to test, and if it works good I could probably add it. None of those reasons for why an element wouldn't be added apply to yours, since it's a good element that just does simple, possible reactions. So it just got ignored because there weren't any devs looking to add any elements.
