I think what happened is that it was on track at like 700 thousand, but then jenn4 got confused with language differences and thought 710,041 meant 710 dollars and point 041 cents (other countries flip the . and the , in numbers, so a comma is a decimal place in some places)
then cccp2 came in and spammed, after I tried to get this thread back on track (remember when this was locked the first time? I'm just trying to enforce the clear rules given by Kikinicij so that this stays on topic)
So, if anyone ever adds a huge amount again, like cccp2, please just ignore their posts. don't let cccp2 turn into the new pacbrad and get game threads banned again.

Diamonds are actually not really that expensive. The only reason that diamonds have the prices they have is thanks to the Debeers Diamond Company running a monopoly. If not for the monopoly, diamonds would be far cheaper.
