well no, but that's specific. Just like if i said CDs were related to a single or album. And storing music is the most common application for compact disc... however drawing ponies is not the most common application for a pen, but writing is.

lol "how do you compile?" turned to "What is the relation between compact disks and music?" hahahaha...this is veering waaay off topic. but it's fun..true that with the popularization of pendrives the usage of c-d have MASSIVELY reduced. i think no company is making vcd players any more(they just make dvd players that can play cds too.) and most modern computers doesn't even have a optical disk drive.Just like the way cassettes and floppys got exctinct, it's only a matter of time before cds, then dvds get extinct due to the mighty power of the pendrives and sd cards. talking about extinct methods of data storage, my old pc (which i'm on now) had a floppy drive that is still functional! maybe i'll keep it for a few decades and the sell it as an antique. lol

@mniip CD's been outdated since, MP3players and iPods all that junk has made CD look like the stone age. For example CD's where awesome from 1989-2004 or 3. On-Topic let's get back to the compile topic.
