If I remember correctly the reason the walls all had to be 4 thick was due to air/pressure being calculated on a 4x4 grid, meaning only 4x4 walls could block pressure.

Hmm, I didn't know TTAN blocked pressure, then again, I'm not usually on TPT. (More of a forum dweller my self)

Though I explicitly remember something running on a 4X4 grid being the reason for walls being so large.

ttan blocks pressure in any thickness, but 2 pixels after the last pixel of ttan seems to have pressure and after that the pressure gets blocked. weird. and ttan stops blocking pressure when sparked.
