Custom hotkeys for elements

With custom hotkeys for elements it would save time because you woudn't need to look through every element over and over just once. This would make building electronics because spark would just be a botton to get to the pen. Most people wouldn't mind changing a default hotkey to an element because most of them are unused and when they need to be changed the meun will be used.
Please consider.

like, a hotkey you press to select an element like spark? What if there was instead a menu where you could pin your favorite and recent elements to? Would that also work? (I have that in my mod, although I don't use it). I used to have trouble finding elements too, and that helped a lot at first.
This will probably be possible with lua eventually, also.
