The game is not the game.
The game is a complex entity of simulation capable of generating laws of physics on the go.
What happens if we go past light speed? Stuff gets wonky, some particles are missed, light becomes visible in certain areas of the screen... You'd think that it's a glitch.
Have you ever wondered how TPT++ became 100 times its size in code? (2000+ lines to ~200 000 lines)
Simon has actually been working on TPT for his Physics thesis. Finding out patterns in laws of physics allowed him to write generic code to handle situations unimaginable when dealing with real world physics. Faster than the speed of light is nothing to this code.

But the game does not simulate reality, it simulates it's own universe.

On many occasions the devs have made it clear TPT is not a reality simulator, its a game ... Except TPT++ thats a exception ... I am afraid of no code; but that thing, it scares me.

I know right. They put warning comments in the first 20000 lines of code saying that if you go any further you'll blow your brains out! Literally overheating your mind would be a bit of a bad death...
That's why my mod only touches a few useless APIs because they're deemed safe for dummies.

Physics Thesis? He's getting his doctorate in physics? Or are you trolling.

Oh my god, you looked at the code, didn't you? You are slowly growing smaller until you pop out of existence!

I propose that we should establish TPT code rehab.

For some, like boxmein, it is already too late. :(

In honor of the late boxmein, we will call it the TPT++ chronic UnBoxmeing shock :P

the photons spawned are just spawned at seeable speeds

clearly, you can speed it up, and at one point reach the speed of light: the fasted speed in the simulation therefore, no, in a weird way the game isnt trolling itself ^.^
