I remember a long time ago acel was in the powered materials.
Powered acel
or PCEL
When pscn is sparked, it accelerates based on its temp. (Higher temp more acceleration, lower temp less or deceleration)
nscn turns it off.
temp affects its acceleration.
Uses: multi-functional lasers
jet engines
plasma guns
etc.

Sounds like a good idea to me.
I think it has alot of uses in lasers.

this is achieveable using the new PSTN and FRME elements by quite a simple contraption, I'll leave the mech-skiellz to you

Although the current ACEL can't be heated or cooled to change acceleration.

This has already been added as a new feature for next release, the strength will be set from .life value. No new element needed.
Default value (old behavior strength) for ACEL would be life 10 and default for DCEL is 9, these can be increased to have more effect. -
So when life is less than 10, it decelerates more, and above 10 is accelerates more?
What about the powered aspect?
