You just have to make saves that people desire. And like. If they are cool to you, there is a strong possibility that they will seem cool to others in the tpt community. Also, making friends is also a nice way to go. Get your name out into the crowd so peopel recognize you and check your saves out instead of passing over them to see someone else's. Be nice to people too. If you see something you hate or don't like, don't point out the bad things.
- I usually vote on saves that show hard and long work or new concepts that haven't been done before. I also like to see old concepts because you don't want them to die out of fad. Just try and add something new if you can.
Are you serious? Well that is just meaningless. What, are you saying its because old posts can get FP again, lowering your chance of getting FP? Nope! All you need to do is set up a system where if a save got FP, then it can't. So having a short time period to get FP is worthless, people with low publicity will not get FP ever.
I suppose I can republish saves that are over a week old.
The old save system (I mean really old) used to be based more on votes and not speed, but it didn't allow inexpirienced people at all to get fp. At the time, the front page was monopolised by the more expirienced. The current fp system allows different people to get the front page through attractive saves so they can build up a reputation to get fp again.
note: amazingly good saves are not nessesaraly attractive
