    notepad is .txt, if you have the option to show file extensions on all files on, then you can change it yourself, but for most people it just says "Text file" and does not let you change the extension to .lua

    Edit: in windows (7, probably about the same on others) explorer: go to organize -> Folder and search options, the change the tab to view, and then uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types". Then rename your autorun.txt to autorun.lua

    You could also always just type that line into the console every time.

    You can change it to whatever extension most likely though...

    It's polite and correct to have it as .lua but if the science baffles you, go with the usual text document ( looks like http://i.imgur.com/TIwRu.png which may or may not have .txt in the end!). Just make sure to enter the file name + ".txt" to the end if you don't see .txt already. So into console goes
    dofile("magic-acid-fixer.txt")

    tpt only looks for autorun.lua and runs it automatically, try to get it to be named autorun.lua and not have the .txt or, if you can't get it, do what boxmein said with the dofile(), but I like autorun better because then you don't need to do anything every time you start the game

    One last thing if you're willing to.
    For only one Powder Toy game (until you close the game window for good), you could just insert the same command (id est
    tpt.el.acid.flammable = 0

    I agree. Who uses acid for explosives? besides, I think cool things could be done using non-flammable acid.

     boric acid doesn't burn. it's trimethyl borate that burns,with beautiful green flames. boric acid is too weak to corrose (almost) anything. most acid don't burn. acetic acid (vinegar) could burn,however,but still its too weak. i can't think of a kind of acid that would be strong enough that could burn.
