The Update of Death

Many problems with updating a save. When creating a new save from an existing one you stay in the original, which is kind of annoying. Also when copying and pasting something from a new page to a save...when you update the save...it crashes. -_- (note: I reloaded and undid several times)

Edit: I also used the console.

ok, in the few times I saved in tpt++, this was also getting annoying. I never saw the second, but I will test that.

Also, I feel like posting this save, the title reminded me of it:

Edit: I wonder if this is also what causes the crash when opening a save, probably. currentSave.gameSave seems to be invalid / not initialized ?

Also, when you make a new save, you are not in that save. Annoying if you work on a save, and then relize you can't click the save button XD

Lua scripts are saved when you write them in Notepad. They aren't saved to the server with saves.

Yes...I have noticed that. When you get the resave crash there is a chance it will corrupt the save. Luckily, it happened on a scrap work page and not a legitimate save. Is there any way to recover a corrupt save? (I don't have any that need recovering though...yet)

yes, in the bottom left of each save is a hidden history button, it appears when you put your mouse over it. That lets you recover things.

And the save as new name problem was my fault, I broke it while fixing the error when saving crash. I have fixed that again, but I can't track down all the random crashes tpt++ has easily. I got it to crash twice, but it's hard to reproduce when it's almost random, and the crashes were in different spots that did not make much sense to crash.
