Granite: The strongest mineral on Earth. (diamond is a 'gem' in this case) A rock born from lava, and is extremely durable. This rock is high in price value, and wears a crystalline texture similar to quartz, but more of a taupe color.

This special mineral melts at 1260°C, and erodes extremely slow by water.

    Other Facts:

-Can be cut clean and accurately by 2000°C photon lasers.

-Made of quartz, biotite, and/or amphibole

This can be labeled as [GNTE]. Of course, The Powder Toy provides nothing of biotite, or amphibole, so should this ever be added to the material inventory, the mineral drops Stone, Quartz, and Powdered Granite [PGNT]. Molten Granite would be labeled as [MGNT]. Molten Powdered Granite would be labeled as [MPGT]. Granite would have the strength of 2x stack of 10x100 Titanium Dest resistance.

    Uses:

    -Advanced bunker coating

-Can be used for compact underground minerals for Cityscaping Saves

    -Decoration

-Can be manufactured in a Factory Save

-!set ctype gnte sprk = strong conductor

    Reactions:

    Spark - NR

    Water - NR

Lightning - Increase in temperature like quartz

Ice - Decrease in temperature like quartz

    CO2 - NR

    Acid - NR

    Caustic Gas - NR

    Warp - Displaces

    Singularity - Breaks

    Neutrons - Filters

    Photons - Filters

    Electrons - NR

    Noble Gas - NR

    Plasma - Melts Slowly

Lava - Increase in Temperature like quartz

    Life - Melts Slowly

    COOL Tool - NR

HEAT Tool - Melts at 1260°C

We don't have to add Molten Granite, the LAVA can just set it's ctype to GNTE itself so when it cools down, it spawns as GNTE. Say you type in the console !set ctype lava GNTE, when the lava cools down, it forms GNTE instead of STNE.

Also, you should list some uses.

It's not that we need more durable materials, since as it is now it's actually pretty entertaining seeing people improvise building materials that are less likely to break.

...Though, another material you can make with lava crafting? I'm all for it. It probably needs some function besides being excessively durable. Could do with a higher melting point, too.

Spark might be a bit much though. Even in comic physics, granite being a conductor seems like a stretch.

Oh lol actually, I was just improvising for spark:ctype because I need at least one last thing to put up for uses. I really don't know what uses this could really be used for, I thought it was interesting since I saw it off of a t.v. show.

But, yeah Titanium still has a higher melting point by about another 400degrees C, so it would really be that much of a jump.
