Flash TPT?

Now before you start flaming, actually read my post. I had seen requests for a flash version of tpt that were denied because of major differences between flash and C/C++. However, there is now a utility to convert (I think) C/C++ to Flash. To avoid invoking the advertising rule, I just suggest you search "C to flash". It'll be evident enough. Is it possible, or is there something that prevents this from working?

What prevents it is the people flame all over the place. The thing that I think you're talking about Alchemy.

Yep, that's the one. I just wasn't sure how strict the mods are. Better safe than sorry.

I don't know how easy it is to use that tool, but if it was made and it worked, that should be fine. I predict it would be extremely laggy though, maybe the size would have to be made smaller.

tpt is very complicated, it probably won't even work without a lot of work. (major rewriting)

What if we were to just try and do it?

There would be no right click? :(

And i think we'd need a shit ton of RAM to avoid lag after 30 seconds

It took like, a year just to convert C Powder Toy into C++ Powder Toy. It'd be a mammoth bit of magic seeing it even -functioning- in flash, and besides that, Simon might have some other way of getting TPT into a browser window. ;P

Yeah, it probably would take a lot of memory, and looking over old threads, tpt uses low level access, which I'm not sure would be possible in flash without some hacking. Oh well, one can dream...
