    seems like it would work, but you would need those "sheilds" on every surface of your ships, right?

    That is not possible, because unlike pressure, gravity doesnt do gradient-divergence steps, ie it doesnt flow, so you cant really equalize it

    pump just sets pressure at one point, and it distributes around, because as i said, pressure flows.
    on the other hand, Gpmp just adds gravity all the way around it, making a bubble
