gravity on powder

    in powder i like blowing stuff up and if i want to make a tower collapes and break i shoud be able to don't you think. i mean the gravity on solids is fake takeing iron and putting i circle in the middle and it floats they should have it with gravity so that iron ball become a destructable piece of equipment on't you think                         Reply if you like

    Something like this was actually being worked on. I don't know if it will ever be continued or finished though. here is the thread, on the second page Simon shows it working in tpt. (videos on the tpt forums are broken for me, it might be hard to see them and get them to play without graphical glitches, or maybe it's just me)

    Ive always thought of this idea too, well I think alot of people have, anyway lorddeath I understand what you mean so it would be cool if there was a button to turn the gravity on and off? Just an idea.

    What you are talking about are physical objects, referred to as "moving solids". Due to the way The Powder Toy is programmed, this has an extremely small chance of happening. I had a really long reply a while ago on this exact subject. Here it is:

    What @jacob1 referred to is "stress simulation" or these items just breaking up into broken metal of some sorts.
