It still is togglable with t in tpt actually, but VINE acts exactly the same as PLNT would with it on. I would actually say VINE is one of the most useless things in tpt, it looks like PLNT, acts like PLNT, but always has vine mode enabled (it seems to go faster with it on though). I actually forgot it existed when making the cool effects for WOOD and PLNT, so it doesn't have them.
In tpt++, 't' doesn't work anymore. I think that's good, it can be used for other key combinations in the future, and tpt already has tons of key combinations a lot of people don't know about like 'u', 'm', and CTRL+'g'
@Niven(View Post) Yes, a complete list is in the readme, but I see 5 problems. minus '-' will decrease the brush size, and plus '+' will increase it by 1. Neither are in the readme. The key next to minus is '='/'+' for me, but it doesn't work as plus. I just know it's supposed to work from the code. Maybe the one next to the number keys works, but I don't have one. It also says "D - Debug mode (+ Shift when STK2 is out)", that was changed to + Ctrl like the others. 'C' was removed and doesn't work anymore. It could be easily added back, but I don't see the point. Also, semicolon ';' toggles replace mode for me even though it doesn't say it does (not even in the source code I think)
And now I see even more key combinations I didn't know about. 'n' toggles pretty powder, I guess I knew that at one point though. Also, 'r' resets the current life generation, which used to be displayed in the HUD. The display was removed, but the current generation is still counted, and when I turned it back on (with the custom HUD's my mod has), the 'r' key still worked.
@coolcat99(View Post) No one likes updating the README, it was stuck at like APRIL 2011 for almost a year or more. I actually did update it though, it's now complete and accurate. The only problems are 2 missed (broken) shortcuts that noone uses, a minor thing that I recently changed, something that shouldn't be a shortcut, and something that wasn't removed from the list. I also updated the changelog to almost the latest version (80 something). That isn't included when the zip is automatically generated though, because it was moved to a separate file.
So it is complete, with a few minor errors. And tpt is done being developed (at least I think, the last commit and version was a month ago), all work is on tpt++ now.
