Bug in Solid Edge Mode

While it can equally block particles on all sides, it handles air differently. On the top and left sides, the air escapes and reduces pressure (a shockwave will mostly dissipate, and only slightly reflect). While on the bottom and right sides, it is solid to the air (a shockwave will bounce off). You need to change the boundary conditions for air effects to make this work properly.

Life also loops through the walls.

Also, stickmen go through the walls and die ... but i'm a developer, so I can fix these (indirectly)

The first one could be fixed by not allowing pressure to go inside of walls I think. I'm not sure if that should be changed, it might affect the air code somehow. Simon said "This is the behaviour in both TPT and TPT++, it will not be changed" when it was reported before. I do still want it changed.

The life thing would be really easy to fix.

The stickman one would be harder to fix, and I don't think it matters enough to try. One thing I want to know is why was STKM's head changed to go through things? I liked it better before, and it seemed less glitchy that way.

I guess you will be really surprised to know that stickman head was passing through walls for about two years from it's creation. It was intended cause you can put some liquids, powders, etc into containers so stickmen can get those "powers". Also stickmen can spark conductive materials, and that's another reason as well.

Oh, so it was only a bug that his head couldn't go through walls. Either that or I just don't remember correctly, and stickmen never could.

Also, I was thinking of a new edge mode for tpt++, EMPTY, which lets you use the 4 pixels of space on the edges, unlike VOID mode.
