I have also recently discovered  that the inside of pipe can mel which is a big problem when working with nuclear reactors because of the heat intensity

Even i have that problem in my nuclear reactor where the pipe melts! if anyone could find a way to protect the pipe from melting that would be really useful.

Use ppip, it doesn't melt like pipe.

If PPIP and PIPE get too much pressure, they break into BRMT, which then it can be melted.

I just checked and neither PIPE or PPIP melt in tpt, tpt++, or my mod. That's because it can be used to transfer really hot things, and doesn't even conduct heat. If it does melt, that's a bug.
What does happen is that PIPE breaks under pressure. After it breaks, the BRMT probably just melts right away if it's hot. It breaks in all versions of tpt, it always has.

When I made PPIP for tpt, I accidentally forgot to make it break under pressure made it more useful in high pressure situations like this so it wouldn't break. I also put it in the powered electronics menu, because it's powered and the solids menu is already way too full. PPIP would work for you in tpt like this, it wouldn't break.

When Simon put it in tpt++, he changed some things. He put it in solids so it's next to PIPE (even though I don't think it belongs there), and made it break under pressure like PIPE. I hope the second one was only a mistake, if it is, it should be changed back so it is more useful like this. I'm not sure if any more changes were made either.

Actually, with some clever placement of titanium, this should no longer even be an issue at all. You can make permanent pressure wall zones using pump and titanium, so this shouldn't be a problem.
