My schools calender

Last year was the first day ever I didn't get a snow day, or any unexpected days off. I wonder how I can get none, and in Kentucky you usually get so many that spring break is cancelled and school moves forward. Do you cancel school with only a few inches or at every snowfall? Maybe you might, if you don't have many snowplows and can't clear the roads fast.

Also, Box-Poorsoft is Poorsoft (ip confirmed), if it wasn't obvious already.

Where I live in Kentucky, school gets cancelled if there's one snowflake outside, or if there's any "flooding". Most of the time, I have no idea why school gets cancelled; I look outside and everything is fine but I don't complain. Once, when I was in sixth grade, we had exactly 30 days of Winter Break because after it was over we missed like 2 extra weeks of school for snow (we didn't get our until June that year)

*the sad part is I'm barley joking at all

I thought everyone knew already. If someone named box-jacob1 posted and it wasn't me, I would say something. Also, I know who @PackedBread really is...

I just can't imagine your snowday system. Here in Finland 4-5,5 months there's snow. It is not plowed away on every small street, but it changes nothing. If there's just inch or two of snow, it's not plowed away, and everything goes on. We can stay inside school on recesses if it's less than -25 celciuses, but people still come to school buy bikes. It's just the matter of getting used to something. It's been like this for thousands of years, so everything goes on as normal. Also, it's not extraordinary to have over meter of snowsnow in somewhere ite not plowed.
