    The worse is the lightning the tesla causes... it causes the batteries to melt quicker. Seriously I don't know of a good solution to this.

    forget TESC... what about ETRD!!! even one pixel of it creates a plasma ark, instantly melting the power source! and anything above the gap between the terminals!

     use 1 px gaps and don't put the power source just right above the ETRD.

    ETRD is meant to create plasma arcs. Try doing some fancy magic to protect the conductors. Also, use WIFI for a wireless conduction that doesn't melt everything.

    You can place a single pixel of clone two-three spaces away from your ETRD or Tesla, then in the space between them place Battery. When the battery melts it will just be replaced, unless you're unlucky and the clone picks up the lightning or plasma.
