in the powder toy wood burns very easily like paper, but in reality wood would burn more like coal then paper. This adjustment would make the element wood more realistic and useful. It could now be used more as a fuel, like in the real world.

What's the point in making element more like coal... When there already is coal? You would basically just be making a pointless element.
