     no, i know what im talking about. Making beeps in C is easy as this:

    printf ("/a");

    if you are a programmer you know what im talking about. This '/a' makes a beep, and theres an easy way to change its frequency, so did i call my idea awsome, because you can do it easily, and would be a great powerful element.

    @toppic

    guys, you should be more polite, srsly, just say "don't make caps title", no need to call me silly, thats so sad.

    It's \a.

    AFAIK there's no platform independent way of controlling the internal speaker, not to mention some computers don't even have internal speakers.

    System beeps are an awful way of making music. They are used for other things.

    Note blocks in Minecraft are cool because they can be used and not really spammed.
    In Powder Toy, imagine leading a wire through thousands of noteblocks pretty much simultaneously. What sound would that have?
    also, if you run powder from the command line with the option "sound", you can use the console with "!playsound asdf.wav" to make sound happen.

    Ok, forget, close the topic and lets never talk about this anymore, its just impossible to make.

    'Sound' and 'tpt' are two words that would never be in the same sentence. You know, not every one has a sound box, implementing sounds on tpt would be unfair. Furthermore, working with sound is something too complex, no one every tried to make a game with sounds.

    It was a terrible idea, my apolagizes for making you lose your precious time reading this awful thread.

    Concidering this isn't locked, what if you just put like 3 tones and have a sound option, don't want to be spammed don't have it on, and 3 tones should be easy, it's just 3, like a beep, buzz, and ping, or something like that, now would that be too hard?

     It's not impossible, but it has been rejected before. This is your second warning, please use the search bar in the top right before posting new ideas to make sure they aren't rejected already.

    Closing as requested.
