Carbon melts at 3550 C and boils at 4827 C.
DIAMOND OCEANS POSSIBLE ON URANUS, NEPTUNE:
The scientists liquefied the diamond at pressures 40 million times greater than what a person feels when standing at sea level on Earth. From there they slowly reduced the temperature and pressure.
When the pressure dropped to about 11 million times the atmospheric pressure at sea level on Earth and the temperature dropped to about 50,000 degrees, solid chunks of diamond began to appear.
Major true story, I quit this. I give up changing this thread creator's ideas. He's not going to change anything. He'll keep persisting until cracker answers or this dies, whatever happens first.
It's cold enough to be a planet of liquids without atmosphere, so yea, unless it suffers of a very high pressure.
You stabbed this thread straight in its heart. Tpt's heat engine doesn't allow such high temps, and I doubt it will change just because of plasma. Some people thinks this is realism toy, but its not.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is the powder toy, a falling sand game.. its better than most, because it doesnt have by any chance liquids with solid physics. Thank the devs for their great work, but if u want to make suggestions to turn this realist, don't please. You can't turn falling (pixel) sand games into fully realist games.
Like I said in another thread, I can link you to the best sandbox game ever, with awesome realistic physics, and every kind of stuff, even universe and planets, and without latence!!! It's called 'real life'.
Now, ladies and gentlemen, it's my time to go..
*quits the thread for the whole eternity (unless it is needed to warn someone due to necro'ing)*
How the heck has this become a 4 paged thread? DMND will never, ever be changed in the way suggested. End of story. Goodbye.
Go away! Leave this thread alone! Leave the man to his delusions! Don't make room for more arguements!
There is dmnd powder isn't there?
WAIT WAIT! NO! Don't answer me! Gah. Someone lock this already xD
the powder toy should be meant to be realistic, portals and other such things may seem non realistic but science can prove that portals exist. if it isn't meant to be realistic then why are there real elements in this game which follow the properties of physics? Like if the powder toy isn't meant to be realistic then why does water freeze?
Freezing water? Seriously? Of all the realistic things in TPT you choose FREEZING WATER, the most basic of all of them? At least give a decent example xD
But I understand where you're coming from, there are quite a few realistic aspects of TPT. But there is also an equal amount of the opposite. TPT is not the most realistic game in the world, sure, it's pretty realistic some of the time. But keeping it entirely like that would take out the fun of it.
I swear there's a secret element or something that acts a bit like DMND powder?
