You need to put more detail in your post. Say what you want exactly.

Your grammar is killing me on the inside:

Ok *I want *an offline/online button*, but this will be for all the users*, Programmers*, and *Moderators*.*I was wondering last *night if *the powder toy could make this happen to all users. *Red will be offline and green will be online*, so *that users will know *if *you're offline *or online.

     *there.

Now that the grammar is straight:

How would this work? I leave my account logged on all the time... How would the site know if you're online or offline?

they would log out instently so some one don't hack you.

No, I'm saying that I never log off of my account, so how will the website know if you're there or not?

oh it will show a blinking light that flashes red and yellow that will mean this user has not logged off yet.

But that's the problem, I bet you a lot of users also keep their account logged on...
so the light will be inacurate.

Basically. What he means is that he wants an "online/offline" indicator for a given user. This needs a system to determine when one's on the forums. It can be done though, many BBSes already have such functionality
