Just read this post https://powdertoy.co.uk/Discussions/Thread/View.html?Thread=13735 but instad of WAV files how about using some other kind of datafile output like a comma delimited text file of an Excel worksheet file. This would allow people to scientifically explor the TPT world in much the same way real scientests explore the physics of the real world. For example you cold place sensors that output to data files the pressure and or velocities and or ambient temperature measurements of the air, or of the temperature of solid material blocks. This would then allow 3rd party software to analyze the data, just like a real science experiment.
(unfortunately I had to start to new thread for this, as the old one on WAV files was locked)
Hmm, I usually just fress 'F' to analyse frame by frame but this would be pretty useful. Though I'd have no idea how to export this data into excel so as much as I like it, it's too difficult for me XD
mm looks pretty neat but on the other side it's not worth the coding I think, it would create lag + waste of time
Well I need to access temp, ambient temp, pressure, x air vel, y air vel, abs x air vel, abs y air vel and magnitude of air vel vector. Any idea when you can get a copy to me of TPT custom made to my specs?

WOW you guys always seem to forget that there is an OPTIONS MENU in TPT, that you can turn on and off features such as ambient heat. OBVIOUSLY my suggestion implies SOME ABILITY TO ENABLE AND DISABLE IT! Thus lag wouldn't be a problem if it was DISABLED!
