Hello everyone. Just wanted to say what's up, and to mildly celebrate my 1K post. Its not a very big issue but I thought it was cool to hit quadruple digits, if that's even the proper term.

Since this might just get locked for lack of content, I decided to add another part to this thread for now.
    -
Here's the question: What type of element does TPT need, or more so, what element categories is TPT lacking in? Say, do you think a new type of explosive reaction needs to be added? Or how about a new liquid? Only post the sentence of what you would like to see, and another explaining why.

Maybe after we put some ideals together we can formulate a good suggestion? Remember, this is a community event, all ideas will be put together to create one grand idea. Please treat this in a formal manner, to avoid any unnecessary locks.

EDIT: PLEASE READ. The top three best explained idea's will be posted here, the final date for qualifying idea's will be set to the 24th of July, until further notice is given. What exactly happens with these idea's, well, honestly pretty much nothing. On the other hand, it gets posted on this thread where all can see. How cool would that be? :P

    Thanks everyone, Reaper.

I think it would be interesting if we had an element that decays into PHOT, but as it decays, the decay rate speeds up, with each decay event producing more PHOT than before.

I think this could be used in some interesting reactors, bomb, etc.

Good suggestion, but I think ISOZ Already does that.

    Solid ISOZ

    Color: purple

    Temp: -138.15

A radioactive solid which decays into photons over time. The process can be sped up with negative pressure. It has essentially the opposite reaction of plutonium. ISZS can also be melted into its liquid form (see isotope-z), this normally happens during the duration of the photon decay or it can be done manually with heat.

I've always wanted GoL elements to have special properties.  Some random ideas (GOL conducts electricty,HLIF triggers fire reactions, ASIM is always hot, 2x2 is always cold, MOVE suppresses nearby sparks, some may have to be room temp to be electronic safe)  I'm sure you could think of some weird stuff, but it would make each type unique in sims other than just being GoL.

Also, I have kinda wanted to see DEUT compress under extreme pressure.

First of all, congrats on your 1000th post!

Secondly, I have a couple decent suggestions (not necessarily good but, i don't think anyways, not to bad either).
    1. PCNV (Powered converter) - Just what the name suggests, CONV that's turned on by pscn and off by nscn. It could come in handy when u want to make a save that converts materials only as certain times or if u want an engine that uses different fuels (You could have dust set up at multiple external tanks (with diff conv at each tank) and liquid-only wall at the bottom with PRTI below. Turning on one of the PCNV would convert it to a liquid fuel which would be sent to the engine by the portal)

    2. EMGN (electromagnet) - I know its been suggested before, but what I'm thinking of wouldn't require movable solids (just Newtonian gravity being on). I'm curious what would happen if u took bhol, maybe changed the color, made it effect only powders that conduct electricity, and had the strength of it's gravity be changed by it's tmp (so you could have different strength electromagnets for different jobs). It wouldn't be a "real" electromagnet, but it may hav a similar effect; as in, attract metals, albeit only powder metals. This could be useful if you wanted to make like an alloy factory. You could have some sand, dust, powder metals, etc. outside the factory, with an electromagnet over them. The magnet would attract them into some pipe where they would be taken to a melting chamber. Then the lava would be mixed around and cooled until ur left with an alloy (Just the first use that popped into my head. There are prob more). One more thing I forgot to mention about it, it would only work as long as a current is sent through it (so technically speaking, it's not an electromagnet until a current is run through it). Once again, while this has been rejected before, i'm pretty sure ELEC was rejected a lot too before it finally got implemented.

He said a sentence of what you want to see, and another explaining why, not 2 paragraphs. 0.o

I'd like an element...that crashes TPT when placed....TROL (because it'd piss people off)

    Most definetly.

    Yes.
    @Niven (View Post)
    Interesting indeed.
