[Help] Team Fortress 2 (mac)

My TF2 can't connect to any server. I am using a mac. Here is the story:
One night, I download TF2. The download was a success. When I try the singgle player, it worked. My friend invites me to play together. When I connect to that server, HalfLife crashed. I did try making my own server and yet, HalfLife crashed.
System info:
Mac version: 10.7.2
Processor: 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 4 GB 133 MHz DDR3

Try verifying like @wikku9 (View Post) (OMG you're back or smth?) said, if that doesn't work then reinstall TF2. I dunno, these are the default advices. -

Edit: I did try veryfing the game file. Try to connect to a random server. Still crashes.

Edit: I think, maybe HL2 is not designed for mac. It is ported for mac.
Edit again: or maybe im on lion?
